Musing about the past

FLW Storer House where Joel Silver used to live
Storer house interior...maybe TOO stark but I like this
Storer house pool
Interesting pots from ReForm School
Succulents are so LA.!
Great L.A. view,  lots of light

I love outdoor rooms
There is generally no point to thinking about the past. Remeber the good stuff, learn from mistakes, forget the junk. Yet today I was wondering how my life would be differet if my son had grown up in an airy, serene house..if he had had a proper playroom and nursery.Instead his childhood resembled a Walker Evans photo but less picturesque. Everything that has happened has brought me to this point so I can't complain. See? there really is no point in dwelling in the past. It can't be changed anyway. Remember the good stuff, learn, and go forward.

I really like Heywood Wakefield furniture
Mid-century modern. Study looking.
My favorite dining table and chairs. Heywood Wakefield
We didn't have sunny windowsills.
Or a garden.
Or time just to play and enjoy babyhood together
It was more like this. (Walker Evans photo)
